SIMON AND HIS HOME BIRTH

Some babies are born in a hospital, and some babies are born at home. This is the story of Simon's first day on Earth following his midwife-attended home birth. Babies and toddlers will love hearing this gentle rhyme as a bedtime story. Simon and His Home Birth takes the reader through a loving introduction of a new baby sibling to the family. This story features the same multicultural family as Vancouver author Chelsea Dagot's debut children's book, Alberto and the Pesky Bug, beautifully illustrated by Sakshi Mangal.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Chelsea Dagot always wanted to be a writer, but she never knew what to write about! After becoming a mother to two beautiful children, she was struck with inspiration to start writing children's  stories just for them. What started as a hobby led to her dream of publishing a book!

Having studied linguistics at the University of Victoria, Chelsea believes in the power of reading as a tool for language acquisition (not to mention parent-child bonding!) Nowadays, she lives with her family in Vancouver, BC. She sincerely hopes you will find Alberto and Simon as charming as she does.

"First, think. Second, believe. Third, dream. And finally, dare."
